My cousin Jacqueli Finley, in her work as a Forensic Genealogist, has been instrumental in bringing to our family the genetic evidence and proof of the origins of my ancestry. Her diligent efforts provided a connection between the European and African ancestral lineages of Robert E. Lee, our Great Grandfather, which until then could only be confirmed by oral tradition.
